Vincent Boccard

Vincent Boccard was elected as City Commissioner Seat 2 in March 2006 and Vice Mayor in 2007. He later became Mayor in 2012. He is a general contractor/developer, and co-owner of Boccard Homes and Kessler Construction. He previously served eight years as Vice Mayor and Village Commissioner of El Portal in Miami Dade County.

Boccard has been a resident of Coral Springs for over a decade and has been involved in the community for years. He participates in the Citizens Emergency Response Team and the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce. He has also founded the Lisa Boccard Coral Springs Breast Cancer Foundation for woman without healthcare and is a founding director of the Florida Breast Cancer Coalition.

He is also the Chairman of the Coral Springs Construction Review Committee, as well as, being the Commission's liaison to the Architectural Review Committee, Building Focus Group and the Coral Springs Sports Commission.

He is on the Board of Directors for the Broward Health Foundation, serves on the Broward County Resource Recovery Board and the Broward County Planning Council.

He is a 1975 Graduate of the Southeast Criminal Institute Police Academy, and a former reserve Police Officer for the City of Miami Beach. Boccard attended Miami Dade Community College Marine Institute, Studying Ocean Engineering and Marine Biology.

Mayor Boccard is married to his wife, Terry, and has three children.
