Flood Zone Information

The flood zones in the City of Coral Springs have recently changed as part of an update to the flood models used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). A study was required to take into consideration a new vertical datum that allows for the consistent comparison of land and water elevations across the nation.  In addition, new technologies have provided for better flood protection across the City. You can determine whether your home is located in a flood zone, by clicking on the link to the Flood Information System for Broward County or viewing a map of the Coral Springs Flood Zones. If you believe that the flood zone status of your home should be reevaluated, you may download the request form from the link below:

If you have any questions or need assistance interpreting the flood maps, please call the City of Coral Springs Engineering Department at 954-344-3458.
