CSI Unit Volunteer Program

Beginning in 2011, the Coral Springs Police Department will launch its CSI Unit Volunteer Program. The City will enlist the support of a small number of volunteers to assist Crime Scene Investigators. Volunteers will be trained to collect fingerprints and evidence at crime scenes, including vehicle burglaries and criminal mischief cases.

The City of Coral Springs enlists volunteers in many areas of operation to assist full time staff.  In these tough economic times, the CSI Unit Volunteer program will help save the City money by freeing up Police Department members for other activities.
