Captain Nicorvo began his career with the Coral Springs Police Department in 1985. Captain Nicorvo served as a Patrol Officer until his transfer to the Youth Liaison Unit as a Youth Liaison Officer in 1987. In 1995, Captain Nicorvo was promoted to Sergeant. While Sergeant, he supervised a variety of areas within the agency including the Criminal Identifications Unit and Special Investigations Unit, K-9 Unit, Youth Liaison Unit, and Internal Affairs Office. In 2005, he was promoted to Captain and subsequently assigned to Patrol. Captain Nicorvo also served as the Department’s Public Information Officer from 1999 to 2007. He currently oversees the Criminal Investigations Component.
Captain Nicorvo received his B.A. in Communication from Florida Atlantic University in 2003 and his Masters of Business Administration in Crisis and Emergency Management from FAU in 2008. He is also an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Florida Police Chiefs Association and the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association.
