Law Enforcement Officer/Trainee Relocation Reimbursement Program

Candidates applying from outside of the South Florida area* are eligible for up to $1,000** in monetary reimbursement to cover expenses incurred while interviewing and relocating with our agency. Reimbursement is only offered to candidates who are hired and successfully complete Field Training. Qualified expenses include any expense directly related to traveling for interviews/appointments scheduled by the Coral Springs Police Department or relocating to the South Florida area. Only expenses documented by receipt will be eligible for reimbursement. Employees who terminate employment (voluntarily or involuntarily) in less than two-years, are required to repay all expenses reimbursed by the City.

* Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, Monroe, Martin, Collier, Lee and Henry County are not eligible for reimbursement.
** Reimbursement paid in the form of a $1,000 payroll bonus. Subject to applicable payroll taxes/deductions.
