Why did you pursue a career in Law Enforcement?
I've always been intrigued by the excitement that the job provided. I also have a true desire to help my community.
Why did you choose to work for the Coral Springs Police Department?
I was friends with a couple of the officers and they spoke highly of the department. I was also interested in working for one of the elite departments in the county.
What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is interacting with the youth. This job gives me a wonderful platform to help shape the lives of kids who would go in the wrong direction with no advice/guidance.
What do you like to do outside of work to alleviate the stress encountered on the job?
I love sports, so I aim to be as active as possible. My two favorite hobbies are basketball and shopping.
As a female officer do you have any words of encouragement or advice for prospective female applicants about becoming a police officer?
My advice would be to be yourself, and stay true to who you are. Don't change in order to conform to the masses. Learn as much as you can, and just try to stay positive no matter what is thrown at you.
