CARPENTARIA PALM
(Carpentaria acuminata)

NON-NATIVE

The Carpentaria Palm is originally from the rainforest of northern Australia. These palms thrive in South Floridas sub-tropical climate but are not suited for xeriscaping due to their high water requirements. One of the advantages to using these palms is that they are very fast growing and will quickly attain a prominent spot in any landscaping.
