Family Success Center

The County’s first social services center in western Broward is now open. Located at 10077 N.W. 29th Street, Coral Springs, the Northwest Coral Springs Family Success Center, managed by Broward County’s Human Services Department Family Success Administration Division, is the County’s newest family success center and serves residents in Coral Springs, Tamarac, Margate, North Lauderdale and Parkland.

The County’s family success centers are a one-stop source for information and services designed to help families set goals, sharpen learning skills, and access other social services to build a stronger and healthier family.

Services available through the Northwest Coral Springs Family Success Center include: emergency financial assistance with a one-time payment of rent or mortgage and utilities, case management, bus passes, food vouchers and referrals to services at other locations. Master’s level social workers also provide individual, family and group therapy and anger management on-site free of charge. Services are also available in Spanish and Creole.

Financial Literacy

Whether you need help getting out of a debt, or need some advice on to invest in your 401k, the Family Success Center can help. Resources are also available on MyMoney.gov. Throughout the site, you will find important information from 20 federal agencies government wide teaching you how the basics on financial education.

Also providing services at the center are the City of Coral Springs and Hispanic Unity. Hispanic Unity provides a variety of services for Spanish-speaking immigrants and refugees, including English instruction, job placement, emergency assistance, information and referral, health education, HIV/AIDS prevention, children’s literacy, and senior programs. The City of Coral Springs will also offer its Youth Services Program from the center to assist teens in learning how to write resumes, find a job and improve interview skills.

Other agencies providing services at the center include the Elderly and Veterans Services Division, Substance Abuse and Health Care Services Division, Children’s Services Administration Division, and the Community Action Agency.
