The Coral Springs Council of Executive Officers Board presented an award to the City for being the first local or state government in the nation to win the 2007 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
“The true reward is not receiving the Malcolm Badrige Award and the fame and recognition that goes along with it, but in the knowledge that you have provided the residents and the businesses of Coral Springs a world class environment,” CEO Chairman Jack Miller said.
This recognition was received by the City Manager, City Commission and members of the Senior Management Team.
“We’re very honored to be recognized by our peers. I think its important for the public to know that these individuals along with all the members of the council reached into their own personal and corporate wallets to underwrite 100 percent of the cost of applying and being evaluated for and by the Malcolm Baldrige Award Program. We thank them for that very much,” Levinson said.
“We’re proud to be the winner of this award, but we’re even prouder of the business improvements and results that we’ve earned along the way to enable us to win this unique distinction,” Levinson added.
