Residents can drop off personal paperwork at Sartory Senior Center on Saturday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to noon, where it will be shredded to help prevent identity theft.
This is a new County initiative to raise awareness about the realities and dangers of identity theft and is sponsored by Broward County TRIAD, a partnership between the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Broward County Chiefs of Police and the Association for the Advancement of Retired Persons.
Coral Springs Police, along with the Department’s Seniors and Law Enforcement Together program and Data Shredding Services, joined with the County to offer this important event.
There is no cost to participants. For more information, call 954-344-1833.
