On Tuesday, September 11, at 6 p.m, the City of Coral Springs will honor those who lost their lives in the tragic events of September 11, 2001 at the 9/11 Memorial located outside the entrance of the Northwest Regional Library.
A brief service will be conducted, which will include the Coral Springs Honor Guard. The City’s Police and Fire Chiefs will lay a wreath, followed by a moment of silence. The City Chaplin will conclude with a Prayer of Peace. There will not be any chairs, tents or speakers, but all residents are invited to witness the placing of the wreath. The service will take place rain or shine.

In addition, J.P. Taravella High School will be honoring those in the Armed Forces, and the City’s police officers and firefighters at a school event (Not open to the public). Coral Springs residents who have loved ones in the Armed Forces are encouraged to submit their relative’s information, as they will be acknowledged at the event.
