Crazy Chemistry is a hands-on experience that introduces participants to lab works, chemical reactions and much more. Campers, ages 6 to 12, will be introduced to the basic tools and techniques that scientists use in the laboratory, while refining their vocabulary and fine-motor skills. This camp runs from Tuesday, June 10 to Friday, June 13, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. The registration fee is $240. There is also a $25 supply fee.
Red-Hot Robots will immerse your child in robotics. Children ages 7 to 12 will experiment with different robot designs, explore differences between humans and robots, and even create their own robot to take home. This camp will be held Tuesday, June 22 to Friday, June 25 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. The registration fee is $240, plus a $30 supply fee.
NASA: Journey into Outer Space is for budding astronauts. Children, ages 7 to 12, will learn the four forces of flight, and examine the challenges of space travel. This camp will be held Tuesday, June 17 to Friday, June 20, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Cost is $240, and a $25 supply fee.
Mad Science Exploration Engineering Camp will bring concepts to life, and camp participants, ages 7 to 12, will examine the many ways in which they do that. Students will learn the differences between physical and chemical reactions; fundamentals of electricity, force and pressure, and basic terms relating to engineering and architecture. This camp also runs from Tuesday, July 15 to Friday, July 18, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Cost is $250, with an additional $25 supply fee.
Secret Agent Lab introduces campers, ages 7 to 12, to a staged crime scene, where they will walk the grid and collect evidence to solve the crime. This camp will be held from Tuesday, June 24 to Friday, June 27 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Students will learn the fundamentals of forensic science by examining fingerprints and tracing evidence. Cost is $140 and a $25 supply fee.
Women in Science presents the lives and contributions of accomplished female scientists. Participants, ages 7 to 13, will work hands-on relating to each scientists’ work as well as touch on other topics, including basic anatomy, environmental science and oceanography. The camp will run from Tuesday, July 29 to Friday, August 1 from 1 to 4 PM. Cost is $140 and a $15 supply fee.
Environmental Journey introduces nature, animals, and earth awareness to help children understand the importance of keeping our environments safe. Children, ages 6 to 12, will learn about the classification systems, identification methods, physical properties of rocks and more. The camp will run from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Cost is $145 and an additional $25 supply fee.
My First Lab is geared toward preschool students ages 4 to 6. Children will explore the concept of energy and participate in a variety of experiments. Camp will run through Tuesday, July 29 to Friday, August 1 from 9 AM to noon. Cost is $112 and there is a $15 supply fee.
