May 13, 2008:Volunteer Administrator of the Year
 

The National Association of Volunteer Programs in Local Government (NAVPLG) is recognizing Kim Sanecki, who is the Volunteer Services Coordinator for the City of Coral Springs and works within the Police Department, as the “Volunteer Administrator of the Year”.

 

Kim has served in a leadership capacity for NAVPLG twice as president and for over 6 years as the Pre-conference chair.  Kim is described as having a passion for the field of volunteer management and is an enthusiastic mentor to volunteer leaders new to the field.  She was also nominated for her unique way of meeting community needs by utilizing teen and adult volunteers, staff and the community to bridge the gap into the role of government in Coral Springs. 

 

Kim will be presented with this award at NAVPLG's annual meeting on June 2, at the Points of Light Conference in Atlanta, GA.
