April 18, 2007: City proclaims April as Water Conservation Month
The City Commission proclaimed the month of April as Water Conservation Month. Due to the lack of rainfall and low water levels in Lake Okeechobee, the State, Water Management Districts and the City of Coral Springs are working together to increase water conservation awareness. “We are in one of the worst droughts on record and we appreciate everyone’s compliance with the new water regulations,” Carol Morris, Broward Services Center of SFWMD, said. For more information on how you can help, visit and read the latest issue of Coral Springs magazine.
