The City Commission proclaimed Sunday, April 22 as Earth Day. Earth Day is set aside to reflect on the wonder of nature and the impact of human activity on the environment. Coral Springs has a rich tradition in preserving environmentally sensitive lands and encouraging and promoting environmental responsibility and stewardship. To celebrate Earth Day, the City will be hosting EarthFest on Saturday, April 21 at Sandy Ridge Sanctuary from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Earthfest features wildlife exhibits, guided tours, plant giveaways and refreshments.
