The City of Coral Springs has launched a web site geared toward helping local youth find potential career paths that are right for them.
The site, csteensundecided.com, came from a brainstorming session of a City team comprised of City staff, high school guidance counselors, and college advisors.
On the site, students can find information about jobs, volunteer service, and alternative education opportunities including online high school and college, and career/technical school for after graduation. There is also a page devoted to GED information.
“The web site pulls together the best sources of information on alternatives to a traditional high school education,” said Christine Heflin, team leader and City Organizational Development Coordinator. “It will help students and parents make well-informed decisions and find options that fit a student's style and interests.”
