The Coral Springs Commission recognized Sister Patricia Knapp for her continues volunteer involvement within the City throughout the years.
Sister Patricia Knapp began volunteering for the Coral Springs Police Department in 1994. She currently lends a helping hand at the Records Unit, assisting in filing parking citations, and sorting subpoenas among other duties.
In the past, Sister Knapp helped with emergency calls before present systems were implemented. She also took care of two small children for several years, giving their mother the opportunity to get her college degree. Sister Knapp has worked at election polls for 6 years, worked with residents of St. Andrew Towers, and continues to provide endless help to those in need.
“If I spoke for an hour, I wouldn’t be able to cover all the volunteer hours Sister Pat has given, not only to our City, but to the entire community,” Commissioner Bruck said. “It’s a great pleasure for me to stand beside her tonight.”
