Join the City of Coral Springs at Whole Foods Market, located at 810 University Drive in Coral Springs, at their Fourth of July Barbecue from noon to 4 PM. Barbeque, grocery and beer samples will be offered to all those donating non-perishable food items, while supplies last. All donations will be distributed to the Million Meals Committee for the hungry residents in our community at large. This effort is supported by the Coordinating Council of Broward and the Children’s Services Council. From noon to 12:45 pm, register to win prizes including Whole Foods Market gift cards. At 1 pm, check out the Whole Foods employee Apple Pie Eating Contest. The barbeque is free to the public with the donation of the following food items listed below: Peanut butter, jelly, Heater meals, tuna packets, water, boxed juices, pop tarts, fruit cups, breakfast bars, pudding cups, Vienna sausages, breakfast cereal, beef ravioli, spam, corned beef hash, flour tortilla, Spanish rice, pork and beans, bleach, shelf stable milk and soy milk.
