The City of Coral Springs is joining hundreds of art organizations and communities across the nation in celebrating the arts this month.
Since 1993, events held during this month have encouraged millions of Americans to renew or begin an active participation in the arts.
“The City of Coral Springs has been a leader in municipal arts, starting with the Coral Springs Center for the Arts and the Museum of Art,” Broward Cultural Council Member Beverly Stracher said. “They were also one of the first cities to adopt a public art ordinance financed by private development, and established public art guidelines that other cities have later adopted, such as Tamarac, Lauderhill and Sunrise. “
