The Coral Springs Police Department arrested two suspects after they broke into a residence located at the 1300 block of NW 100 Ave.
Joshua Oliver, 17 and Everette Greene, 17, both of Coral Springs were arrested at approximately 11:51am this morning. Both suspects gained entry into the residence by smashing the window of cabana bath door. Once inside the suspects removed miscellaneous electronics and fled the residence. A witness observed the suspects fleeing the residence and called the police. A 16 year old was home at the time of the burglary and was not injured.
A homeowner in the area observed Oliver in his backyard at the 1000 block of NW 97 Drive. When the homeowner confronted Oliver, Oliver fled the area. The homeowner chased and apprehended Oliver until police arrived. Responding police units apprehended Greene.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with Occupied Burglary and Grand Theft. Both suspects were transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
