After the holidays, residents can drop off undecorated trees and other plans at the Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital for recycling. The Nature Center will use the trees for perches and shelter for the animals or as mulch. Live plants will be also planted in the gardens. The facility, located at 3000 Sportsplex Drive, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This service is free of charge.
