Coral Springs- At 10:30 a.m. on July 15th, 2010 Coral Springs firefighters were called to the scene for a reported car fire at 3950 NW 120th Ave. When they arrived, they found the car fire to be several cars on fire inside of a warehouse. Heavy black smoke was seen from the rear of the business when fire crews arrived. They went to the rear and found heavy fire inside of the warehouse. Fire crews had to use saws to gain entry into two roll-up bay doors. Firefighters from Margate, North Lauderdale, Tamarac, and Sunrise were also called to the scene to assist.
Damage to the building was very extensive. Fire investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
One Coral Springs firefighter was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center for heat exhaustion.
