Learn more about the culture, faith, and way of life of our Muslim neighbors at the upcoming Eid program on Sunday, October 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Coral Springs Charter School.
The purpose of the event, titled “Coffee, Cake and Conversation,” is to bring together people from all different backgrounds for an informal dialogue, as well as an explanation of the “Eid” holidays celebrated twice in a Muslim calendar year. Guests will also have the opportunity to sample desserts and savories from different parts of the Muslim world. Children’s crafts and henna hand painting will also be available.
The Coral Springs Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee, the Clergy Coalition, the Northwest Regional Library and The Muslim Neighbors of Coral Springs host this event annually.
Families are welcome and admission is free. The Charter School is located at 3205 University Drive and the celebration will take place in the school’s cafeteria. For additional information, call 954-344-1005.
