The Coral Springs City Commission will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 5 p.m. in City Hall Commission Chambers to consider the employment of Erdal Dönmez as the new City Manager. Current City Manager Michael Levinson will retire from his position effective October 31, 2010.
Dönmez has worked for the City of Coral Springs for the past decade as Deputy City Manager. Upon contract approval, Dönmez would remain as City Manager from November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2013.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to become the successor to Mike Levinson as the City Manager of Coral Springs. He has been a good friend and great mentor to me over the years. I intend to maintain his legacy of running the City as one of the best corporations in the nation,” Dönmez said.
