October 13, 2010 Police Need the Public’s Assistance
The Coral Springs Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a suspect that committed a strong-arm robbery at the 7- Eleven convenience store located at 11595 Wiles Road.
On September 23, 2010 at 10:37 p.m. a white male entered the store via the front glass doors. The suspect walked to the counter and asked for a pack of cigarettes. As the two clerks turned to get the cigarettes, the suspect jumped the counter and demanded the clerks to open the registers. The suspect grabbed one clerk by the shirt and began to push her as the other clerk pushed the alarm. The suspect told the clerk to open the register or he will kill both of them. In fear for there lives, the clerk opened the registers and the suspect removed the money. The suspect was last seen fleeing south through the plaza on foot.
The clerks were injured and the suspect is described as a white male, 6’-6’-3”, medium build, late 20’s to mid 30’s with brown hair and brown eyes.
