November 18, 2010: Bruck reappointed as new Vice Mayor

The City Commission reappointed Claudette Bruck as Vice Mayor on Tuesday, November 17.

Bruck has served as a Coral Springs Commissioner since March 2006 and was just recently re-elected. Bruck has been a proud resident of Coral Springs for 35 years, and is a Realtor and the owner of Multiple Choice Realty Investments, Inc.

“I want to say very simply, thank you. Thank you for your support. I promise to serve you with honor and humility,” Vice Mayor Bruck said.

Bruck has been a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAGFL), the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors for over 36 years. Bruck is a founding member, past president and currently serves as a Trustee of the Realtors Charitable Foundation of RAGFL. She is also a multi- life member of the Realtors Political Action Committee. Bruck is a past recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year award from RAGFL and the Florida Association of Realtors for all her contributions to the community, and, received the Marie Zeller Award by the Florida Supreme Court, for child advocacy.  Bruck has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem for the State of Florida for 25 years, representing abandoned, neglected abused children in the Broward County Court system.

She is currently a liaison to the Charter School Advisory Board, CRA Board, Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee, the Senior Advisory Committee, and Chair of the Board of the Coral Springs Charter School. Bruck has previously served on the Coral Springs Code Enforcement Board, the Coral Springs Board of Adjustment and is a graduate of the Coral Springs Citizens’ Police Academy and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). She was also a member of the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee.

Bruck has an associate’s degree is business administration and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She is also a proud mother of three grown sons.
