November 22, 2010: City thanks community for holiday donations

This year was the City’s ninth year partnering with the community for donations and it was gratifying to receive such tremendous support during these difficult economic times.  

The City would like to recognize the following participants for their contributions to the annual Thanksgiving food drive:  Howard Barnhart, Consolidated Community Management, Coral Glades High – NHS & Key Club, Coral Park Elementary, Coral Springs Diner, Coral Springs Downtown Lions Club, Sandy Costa & her Turtle Run neighborhood, Discovery Preschool, First Choice GMAC Real Estate, FOP, C.S. Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association, WalMart Store #4380, Imagine Charter School, Park Summit, Sawgrass Middle School Student Government, Mom’s Club of Coral Springs, Brownie Troop 10495, Brownie Troop 11141, Daisy Troop 10524, Girl Scout Troop 10995, Junior Girl Scout Troop 856, Brownie Troop 896, Webelos Den Pack 170, YMCA Indian Princesses Pawnee Tribe, Frank T. McGee Living Trust and the Employee Thanksgiving Basket Committee, volunteers, students, residents and employees.
Thanks to the community’s contributions, more than 252 families will be able to enjoy a traditional meal this Thanksgiving.
