From May 15 through June 15, the City of Coral Springs is conducting a city-wide food drive to benefit The Pantry of Broward for seniors and grandparents in Broward County. The Pantry of Broward is a non-profit agency that provides food and support services to seniors on a low fixed income, and grandparents raising their grandchildren in Broward County. This food drive leaves grandparents and seniors more dollars to purchase their medications and other necessities.
Canned food and other non-perishable items, such as jelly, peanut butter, Hamburger Helper, tuna, cereal, spaghetti sauce, pasta and oatmeal, will be collected at the following locations:
· City Hall, 9551 West Sample Road (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
· City Hall in the Mall, Coral Square Mall (Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
· Coral Springs Gymnasium, 2501 Coral Springs Drive (Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
