In July of 2010, Officer Sean Murray was dispatched to a residential alarm at 10000 NW 50 Manor. Officer Murray while responding to the alarm observed a male walking down the street away from the direction of the alarm. Due to Officer Murray’s knowledge of the area and of the habitual offenders in his zone; as he got closer he recognized the male as a known burglar. Officer Murray stopped the subject and took note of a bulge in subject’s pants pockets; he requested consent and recovered $2,220 worth of jewelry and a screwdriver. The jewelry was eventually identified as coming from the location of the alarm. The subject was arrested and charged with burglary of the residence that Officer Murray was responding to for the reported alarm.
