May 17, 2011 Tamarac Resident Pronounced Dead
A Tamarac resident was pronounced dead on May 15, 2011, as a result of the injuries he suffered from an accident that occurred on May 14, 2011.
Preliminary investigation shows that around 8:01 a.m. Michael Fish, 40, of Tamarac was riding his bicycle northbound across Sample Road at the intersection of Turtle Creek Drive. As he entered the intersection, Fish was struck by a 2008 Infiniti driven by Anthony Pennachio, 28, of Coral Springs who traveling west on Sample Road in the right thru lane.
Fish was transported to North Broward Medical Center where he died from his injuries on May 15, 2011. Pennachio received minor injuries and was released on scene.
