June 30, 2011: Celebrate Fourth of July at Mullins Park

Celebrate Fourth of July at the City’s annual celebration on Monday, July 4 at Mullins Park at 6 p.m. Families are encouraged to celebrate the holiday safely by enjoying a grand fireworks display set to begin promptly at 9 p.m. The event is free to the public and food and entertainment will be available prior to the fireworks display.

“In the event of inclement weather, entertainment planned between 6 and 9 p.m. may be canceled, but the City will make every effort to present the firework display at 9 p.m.,” Parks and Recreation Director Rick Engle said.

Parking will be available for $3 at the Coral Springs Gymnasium for early arrivers, and also at the main Mullins Park and the Center for the Arts parking lot. Additional parking will also be available at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Personal fireworks, pets and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
