City hosts Box Tops Collection to help local schools

In partnership with Box Tops for Education, the City of Coral Springs is supporting the Box Top Collection Drive to raise money for schools in Coral Springs. This drive is already underway in the local schools and the City is joining in by offering additional drop-off locations for the convenience of our residents who may wish to help out. Residents can turn their next trip to the grocery story into easy cash for Coral Springs schools by clipping Box Tops’ logos on hundreds of participating products including cereals, tissues and cake mixes. Each Box Top will earn 10 cents for the designated school.

To participate in the drive, simply clip the Box Tops, save them in an envelope, label it to your school of choice, and drop it off at City Hall, City Hall in the Mall or the Gymnasium. Each month, the Box Tops will be delivered to Coral Springs schools for submission to the Box Tops for Education program.

Box Tops for Education has helped America’s schools earn over $400 million since 1996. The goal of the program is to nourish young lives by enhancing every child’s learning environment. To learn more about the program and for a list of participating products, visit www.boxtops4education.com.

Drop off locations are City Hall, located at 9551 W. Sample Road, City Hall in the Mall, located within Coral Square Mall at 9239 W. Atlantic Blvd. and the Coral Springs Gymnasium, located at 2501Coral Springs Drive.  For more information, please call 954-344-1005.
