Residents invited to annual Slice of the Springs meeting November 3

Residents who would like to discuss neighborhood improvements, voice a concern, or simply hear more about the City’s presence in their immediate community are invited to attend the Slice of the Springs meetings.  The meetings are your chance to interface directly with staff members from all sectors of the City, including police, fire, community development and code enforcement.

As part of the City’s initiative to target and deter the use of illicit prescription drug use within our City, the Coral Springs Police Department is encouraging residents to bring any unused, unwanted or expired prescription medication to the event.

Upcoming dates are:

-          Thursday, November 3 – Southeast and Southwest slices at Maplewood Elementary, 9850 Ramblewood Drive

-          Thursday, February 9 – Town Center and Center West slices at Parkside Elementary, 10257 N.W. 29th St.

-          Thursday, March 22 – Northside and Northeast slices at Coral Park Elementary, 8401 Westview Drive

All Slice of the Springs meetings are held from 7 to 9 p.m. If you can’t make it to the meeting, catch replays on CityTV 25, Channel 25 on Advanced Cable Communication and Channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse or stream it online from www.CoralSprings.org.

For more information, call 954-344-1114 or visit www.CoralSprings.org/slice to see which district includes your neighborhood.
