A flash flood warning is in effect until 6 p.m. for east-central Broward County. A flood watch will be in effect until midnight for Broward.
Coral Springs may expect to have one to five inches of rain, thunder and lightening, standing water and flash floods in over saturated and standing water locations.
The National Weather Service advises to not drive vehicles into areas where water covers the roadway. Water depth is deceiving and vehicles could be flooded, float, or veer into canals. Please do not attempt to cross or drive over flowing waters or waters of unknown depth. City officials want to encourage residents to please be careful during these weather conditions.
