The City of Coral Springs, along with the Art and Retail Coalition, are proud to present the first annual BizArt Festival on Sunday, March 4 from noon to 4 p.m.
The festival, which will take place in the lot next to City Hall South at 9530 W. Sample Road, will feature live bands, face painting, food trucks, a free trolley to see the new Sculpture on Sample display along Sample Road and much more. Visitors will have a chance to cast their vote for their favorite Sculpture on Sample art piece. The Public Art Committee will take the feedback received into consideration when purchasing a piece for permanent display. Artists involved in this event come from all over the country, including Robert Coon, Michael Chiarello, Michele Dale, Kimber Fiebiger, Hanna Jubran, Claudia Jane Klein, Cecilia Lueza, and Deedee Morrison.
The City would like to thank the sponsors and vendors, including Our Town News, The Country Club of Coral Springs, The Gard Gallery, Band: Daniel Cortolillo & Aaron Lingelbach, Artist Claudia Jane, Artist Robert Coon, Artist Mark Zaden, Band: Ted Danson Plus One, Face Painting by Cristina Sierra and Heather Blaine, Live Painting by Gina Bentivegna, Coral Springs Spine & Nerve, Mythos Greek Taverna, Gene’s Joint, Camilla Day Spa, Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital, Paul A. Kavanagh, Yum Kettle Corn, and Dunkin Donuts. The food trucks included: Guiseppe’s Italian Sausage, Bru’s Traveler, Nacho Mama, Latin Burger, J & C Country BBQ, Seoul Food, and Ms. Cheezious.
The event is free and parking will be available at the Financial Plaza and City Hall South. Anyone interested in sponsoring the event should call 954-344-1162.
