Residents can now receive notifications regarding Broward County’s air quality and information on any necessary precautions. Through a partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency EnviroFlash program, Broward County has established the Air Quality Program with an "e-mail alert" system to immediately notify subscribers, via e-mail or pager. By signing up for Enviroflash, residents will receive an e-mail ONLY when the air quality goes out of the good range.
Residents can sign up by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, city and e-mail address or by visiting www.enviroflash.info/signup.cfm and fill in the information needed. Be sure to select yellow (moderate) or orange (unhealthy for sensitive groups).
