The Broward League of Cities has elected Mayor Roy Gold to serve on its Executive Committee.
“I am honored to work with the Executive Committee and develop a work plan, which will offer value and benefit to the League’s members,” Mayor Gold said.
Founded in 1957, the Broward League of Cities identifies and solves problems that affect the daily operations of Broward County’s 31 municipal governments, including legislation at the county, state and federal levels. The mission of the organization is to identify and resolve issues, to promote municipal authority and represent the best interests of municipalities and their residents, to increase public knowledge of municipal services and responsibilities, and to provide leadership on issues of local, regional, state and national concern.
Active in the community for over two decades, Mayor Gold has served as a public servant in a variety of areas focused on education, the environment, and financial stability. For more on the Broward League, visit their website at www.browardleague.org.
