City urges residents to donate to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts

The City of Coral Springs encourages residents and local businesses to donate to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. At tonight’s meeting, the City Commission will proclaim November 19, 2012 as a City-wide day to donate to the Red Cross. Additional days to donate will be schedule over the next few months.

By proclaiming “Coral Springs Cares…A Time for Giving,” the Commission is creating a mission to support those suffering in the Northeast as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

To make a donation to this worthy cause, visit and click on the Red Cross link on the homepage. The link will be available thru the remainder of 2012.
