Tennis Center welcomes new instructor

The City of Coral Springs is pleased to announce the addition of Craig Cooper to their Professional tennis staff. Originally from Columbus, Ohio and Cooper is a graduate of Ohio State University. He has been involved in the tennis industry for over 25 years as a player, teacher and coach. He has served as a staff professional, head professional, junior coordinator and director of tennis at various facilities. Most recently, Cooper served a Director of Tennis at Camp Pontiac in Copake, New York. Prior to that, Craig was the head coach and administrator at the BDA Academy in Beijing, China and also coached a select group of players for the Chinese Tennis Association. Throughout his career, he has received appointments as a national zonal, intersectional and Junior Davis Cup coach.

“We are thrilled to have Craig join our team of USPTA and PTR tennis professionals. Craig will be working at both Cypress Park and the Tennis Center in our 10 and under development program and our Junior Tennis Academy,” said City Tennis Director Kevin McCarthy.
