Household Hazardous Waste Collection set for December 7

The City of Tamarac is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the parking lot at Tamarac Public Works Compound, located at 6011 Nob Hill Road.

Coral Springs residents are able to dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste, such as pesticides, lawn and pool chemicals, propane tanks, compact fluorescent light bulbs, tires (a maximum of four per person), fire extinguishers, car batteries, flares, mercury thermometers, televisions, computers, monitors, keyboards, mouses, printers, fax machines, cell phones, and rechargeable batteries at this site.

The event is free but proof of residency is required. Remember that disposing of harsh chemicals and household wastes by professionals helps protect the environment.
