Applications available to serve on Community Redevelopment Agency Board

The City Commission is currently seeking new applicants for the Community Redevelopment Agency Board of Directors. It is anticipated that they will make the appointments at the City Commission meeting on February 5, 2014 at 9 a.m. The Agency and its’ Board are responsible for preparing and implementing all the elements of the City’s redevelopment plans for the Community Redevelopment Area, which encompasses Downtown Coral Springs.

Positions are available in the following: Urban Design, Finance and General categories. The CRA Board is composed of a total of seven voting members, with Board members serving four year terms of office. All board members must reside within Coral Springs City limits or own a business, perform a service for compensation, or serve as an officer or director of a corporation within the area of operation of the agency and the City of Coral Springs.

All City of Coral Springs boards, advisory boards, committees or miscellaneous other members serve without benefit of compensation. Anyone interested may obtain an application form at or by calling the Office of the City Clerk at 954-344-1065.
