On April 30th, 2014, at approximately 1835 hours, Coral Springs Police responded to 4016 NW 76th Ave., after receiving a 911 call of a child who was found unresponsive at the bottom of the family pool. The child who was identified as Brandon Paul St Onge, 3, of Coral Springs, appears to have exited out of a rear slider after his mother, Viviane St Onge, 37, who was watering plants in front of the residence. The father Jason St Onge, 40, was inside the house cooking dinner. Viviane came back to the pool area and observed her son Brandon, at the bottom of the pool. Brandon appeared to have been riding a child’s tricycle, which was also found in the pool. The father Jason, jumped in the pool and pulled his son out and began CPR. Brandon was transported to Broward Health Coral Springs, where he later died.
The incident appears to be accidental and is currently under investigation.
