Coral Springs Holiday Parade

The City of Coral Springs annual Holiday Parade is a community tradition in which Coral Springs residents come together to welcome the holiday season. Held along Sample Road, the parade offers both citizens and businesses the opportunity to participate in the event by entering the decorated float competition. Each year the parade draws about 10,000-15,000+ spectators and more than 75 floats, bands, walking groups and other entries.
Downtown in December

This new holiday event brings together the community to celebrate the joy of the holiday season in Downtown Coral Springs. A chance of snow is forecasted, along with other old-fashioned winter-themed activities and holiday treats for the entire family.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

Every year the City of Coral Springs celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by hosting the MLK Golf Classic (October) and the MLK Celebration (January). In an effort to honor Dr. King’s vision, the City provides scholarship funds to financially deserving local students who, through their words and actions, exemplify the spirit of his teachings on peace, racial harmony, and community service for the betterment of others. Each year the Celebration draws an average of 1,600 people with an additional 250 guests attending the MLK Business Luncheon and VIP Reception.
State of the City

The annual State of the City highlights all of the City’s major accomplishments over the past year with volunteers, committee members and residents. The purpose of the event is to share information about how the City is reinforcing its mission by highlighting some of the Business Plan outcomes and celebrating our accomplishments. Improving each year, the event brings in about 1,400 residents.
Family Fun Day and Car Show

Every year the City of Coral Springs provides families in the community a family-friendly outing by hosting the Family Fun Day and Car Show. Filled with a judged car show and great activities for children such as face painting, bounce houses and shows, this event attracts over 2,000 residents who seek to spend some quality time with family and friends.

This new event brings together local musicians and artists, along with craft beer and food vendors, for a laid-back evening under the stars in Downtown Coral Springs. Geared toward our 21+ community, attendees can play oversize games, relax with friends and hear new music while watching live art.
Teen Political Forum

The City of Coral Springs annual Teen Political Forum encourages local high school students to actively participate in the government process by speaking directly to their elected city and local officials on topics that are significant to them. This event is a great opportunity to bridge the gap between students and elected officials by involving our future leaders in the political and government process. Increasing dramatically over the past year due to extensive marketing, this event has attracted over 1,000 participants.

In an effort to celebrate the diverse cultures that make up the community of Coral Springs, the City hosts its annual Worldfest event. Featuring foods from around the globe, live entertainment, arts and crafts, as well as fun activities for children, this day-long event attracts an average of 4,500 residents while positively impacting local vendors who choose to participate.
National Day of Prayer

The City’s annual National Day of Prayer celebrates the diversity found in our community by bringing people from all faiths together to demonstrate our respect for the world’s religions. This nondenominational event attracts an average of 400 residents who come to participate in the candlelight service to pray for our nation, leaders, and peace.

Every year the City celebrates Independence Day with a grand fireworks display at Mullins Park. This fun family event, filled with games and entertainment, helps build a sense of community while celebrating our nation’s independence. International Dinner Dance

As part of our multi-cultural programs, the International Dinner Dance takes guests along a trip around the world without having to leave the City.
