The city of coral springs is taking proactive steps to replace the city’s aging infrastructure:
Work started on Tuesday, January 10, 2017
Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division (HBMD) will be performing maintenance and improvements to the bridges over the West Outfall Canal on Coral Springs Drive immediately south of Ramblewood Drive in the City of Coral Springs.
Work started on Thursday, April 13, 2017 between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The northbound lane of Coral Ridge Dr. will be partially closures due to repairs on sewer main. Also, Friday 04/14 and Monday 04/17, Miller Pipeline will be setting up an MOT on Royal Palm Blvd at the intersection with Coral Ridge Dr.

The City of Coral Springs has hired LCCI Construction, LLC to make drainage improvements south of 39th Street along 118th Avenue and 35th Street. The work will consist of cutting and flattening the edge of pavement and re-profiling the swale to receive and retain storm water runoff from the adjacent travel lanes.

The City of Coral Springs is taking a proactive approach toward replacing its aging infrastructure – both preventing costly sewer and water line breaks, and ensuring reliable service to existing customers as well as future development in the Downtown area.

The eastbound lanes of Wiles Road will be shifted to the north. Sidewalks on the south side of Wiles Road will be closed for construction. Pedestrian access will be detoured to use the sidewalks along the north side of Wiles Road. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes as this work continues. This new pattern will be in effect through the summer of 2017.
