The City’s Sample Road Water and Sewer Line Replacement Project continues to progress. The project is expected to be complete in Fall 2017.

Motorists use caution: Night work resumes at Sample Road and University Drive.

Update: The contractor will begin excavation work in preparation for water main tie-ins. As a result, one lane in the intersection will be closed to traffic to facilitate the work.

This week: Work begins on the southern portion of the intersection. One lane will be closed to traffic (Sample Road eastbound lane adjacent to the turn lane will be closed to facilitate the work).

Week of October 15: Work on northern portion of intersection. One lane will be closed to traffic (Sample Road westbound lane adjacent to the turn lane will be closed to facilitate the work).

Lanes closed from 9 P.M.-6 A.M. Sunday to Thursday.

DETOUR INFORMATION

From the North:

Head east on Wiles Road and turn right on Riverside Drive to Royal Palm Boulevard. Turn right on Royal Palm Boulevard to access University Drive.

OR

Go west on Wiles Road and turn left on Coral Springs Drive to Royal Palm Boulevard. Turn left on Royal Palm Boulevard to access University Drive.

From the South:

Head west on Royal Palm Boulevard to turn right on Coral Springs Drive. Turn right on Wiles Road to access University Drive.

OR

Go east on Royal Palm Boulevard to turn left on Riverside Drive. Take Riverside Drive to Wiles Road and turn left to access University Drive.
