The Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of facilities, programs and special events for every recreation and leisure need.

From sports leagues, exercise paths and playgrounds; to recreation programs for pre-school children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens; to quiet passive areas and nature tours of Environmentally Sensitive Land areas, the Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone.

The Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department has an extensive array of sports facilities. Athletic opportunities ranging from aquatics, soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, and lacrosse to horseshoes and bocci ball.

In addition to the various athletic opportunities offered, many of the City's parks also provide passive areas and natural settings for those who prefer the more leisurely part of recreation. Many of the City's parks were developed with nature in mind. Upland Natural Areas, Wet Hammocks, and Wetland Mitigation sites were left in place or developed, to preserve environmentally sensitive land areas for current and future generations.

Activities & Programs
The City of Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department offers a rich variety of youth, adult and senior programs throughout the year. Family concerts, aquatics programs, tennis classes, fitness center, special needs population activities, Kamp Kool summer camp, after school & Fun Day programs, Night Court basketball, teen programs, senior citizens' activities, sports clinics, numerous sport leagues, and over 675 acres of parks are waiting for you and for your family. Sports Leagues
Coral Springs boasts a thriving sports league program for kids and adults. Whether you want to learn or just have fun, there are year-round opportunities in the following sports:

Environmentally Sensitive Lands

Red Lichen is under construction and will be opened only for scheduled tours, Pine Flats currently closed to the public, however; visits are available upon request. Sandy Ridge Sanctuary is made up of two areas: a park area and a protected area. The park area is open from 8 A.M. until dusk. The protected area is open for tours on the first and third Saturday of each month. Special tours can be arranged during the weekdays and evenings. Neighborhood Parks are within walking distance for many local residents. They offer easy access to picnic facilities and playgrounds without having to leave your neighborhood. Many of our parks have passive areas for visitors to enjoy.
