 Captain Mock began his career with the Coral Springs Police Department in 1998. He served as a Patrol officer until 2004, at which time he was transferred to the Tactical and Gang Unit where he spent 3 years as a Tactical and Gang Officer. In 2007, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, he supervised Patrol, the Tactical and Gang Unit and the K-9 Unit. In January of this year he was promoted to Lieutenant where he supervised Patrol. He has also been a member of the Special Response Team since 2000 and currently holds the position of Executive Officer on the team. He currently serves as Captain of the Community Services Component.
Captain Mock graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He holds memberships to the National Tactical Officers Association and Florida SWAT Association.
