Two Coral Springs citizens were recognized last month for assisting the Coral Springs Police Department during several in-progress residential burglaries. Both men observed three burglars breaking into an apartment and called the police. All three were caught inside the apartment and arrested.

On April 26, 2001, Police Chief Roy Arigo met with Adityanand Sukhu (left photo) and Mahas Ramkishum (right photo) at the Public Safety Building and presented them with Certificates of Appreciation. Chief Arigo said, "We cannot thank them enough for getting involved. It is this type of citizen participation that keeps Coral Springs safe."
