On Saturday, April 07, 2001 at approximately 3:30 AM, the Coral Springs Police responded to a single vehicle crash at the 10800 block of W. Sample Road. According to witnesses, the 1994 Nissan operated by Robert M. Hunt age 18 of Coral Springs, was traveling westbound on W. Sample Road. At approximately the 10800 block the vehicle crossed over the eastbound lanes and struck a tree on the south side of W. Sample Road. The driver Mr. Hunt was transported to North Broward Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation is continuing.
