POLICE FIND MAN DECEASED IN PICKUP TRUCK

Police officers responding to a woman screaming found the body of the woman's husband slumped over in his pickup truck early Thursday morning.

Coral Springs Police were on an unrelated call at around 8:05 AM when they heard Francine Vasquez screaming nearby. Officers ran over to the parking lot of Shadowwood Townhomes in the 1400 block of NW 94th Way and found the body of Steven Vasquez, age 40, of Coral Springs in his white Chevy pickup truck. It is unknown how long Vasquez had been dead. The cause and manner of death will be determined pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner's Office.
